KCC's commercial divers are trained and certified to carry out subsea welding and cutting operations using wet welding, hyperbaric dry welding, oxy-arc cutting, and mechanical cutting techniques. Works are conducted in compliance with AWS D3.6 (Underwater Welding) and relevant IMCA guidance, covering structural repairs, pile cutting, pipeline modification, and salvage preparation.
Subsea welding and cutting are specialist skills that require certified, experienced divers and the right equipment. KCC maintains trained personnel and the necessary tooling to carry out these operations safely and to the required quality standard — reducing the need for costly dry-dock or dewatering works.
Mechanical Clamp Installation
Design and installation of mechanical clamps for emergency and permanent repair of leaking or damaged subsea pipelines, outfalls, and structural connections.
Subsea Grouting & Void Filling
Injection grouting and void filling beneath subsea foundations, around pipeline supports, and within deteriorated marine structures to restore structural integrity.
Concrete Encapsulation & Jacketing
In-situ concrete encapsulation and jacketing of deteriorated piles, outfalls, and marine structural elements to restore section and extend service life.
