CP System Maintenance — Keeping Your Protection System Working

What is CP System Maintenance & Repair?

KCC carries out maintenance and repair of cathodic protection systems — including replacement of depleted sacrificial anodes, repair of damaged cabling and connections, and recalibration of ICCP systems. Regular maintenance ensures systems continue to provide adequate protection throughout the structure's life.

What's Included

  • Inspection of CP system components
  • Replacement of depleted or damaged sacrificial anodes
  • Repair of damaged cabling, connections, and junction boxes
  • Recalibration of ICCP transformer-rectifier units
  • Post-maintenance CP potential survey to confirm protection level

Why This Matters

Cathodic protection systems require regular maintenance to remain effective. Depleted anodes, damaged cabling, and drifting ICCP settings can all compromise protection — regular maintenance ensures systems continue to provide the protection they were designed to deliver.
