KCC provides a complete design, supply, and installation service for floating pontoon systems and associated gangways across Hong Kong. Our pontoon range covers HDPE modular floating pontoons and aluminium frame pontoons, configured to suit marina berths, ferry piers, public landing steps, and private premises. Gangways are designed with appropriate gradient limits for the tidal range of the site and fitted with anti-slip decking and handrails to HKMD and Buildings Department requirements.
Pontoon anchoring systems — pile guide, anchor chain, or spud pile — are designed for the site's tidal range, current, and vessel loading. KCC's commercial divers install all below-waterline anchor points, pile guides, and chain connections. Electrical and water services to pontoons can be incorporated at design stage.
Compliance: All pontoon installations are designed and installed in accordance with Hong Kong Marine Department requirements and, where applicable, Buildings Department approval. Structural design is carried out by a Registered Structural Engineer.
A well-designed floating pontoon provides safe, accessible berthing and landing facilities that move with the tide. KCC manages the full project — from design and HKMD submission through to diver installation of the anchoring system — reducing the number of contractors a client needs to manage.
Fender Installation
Supply and installation of rubber, EVA, pneumatic, and foam-filled fenders on jetties, piers, dolphins, and floating pontoons — protecting vessels and structures from berthing impact.
Marine Piling Support
Diver-assisted piling support — seabed preparation, pile guidance, toe inspection, and as-built survey — in support of piling contractors working in the marine environment.
Cofferdam Installation & Dewatering
Installation of sheet pile and temporary cofferdam systems for intertidal and submerged works, including dewatering, sealing, and removal on completion.
