Overview

Kowloon Construction provided commercial diving support for the demolition of an existing culvert system using stitch coring and diamond wire cutting, followed by the reinstallation of a 2500-ton precast diversional culvert. Key activities included leveling and grading, heavy lifts, subsea concrete pours, subsea burning, remedial works for pen gates, desilting and silt curtain launch and recovery.

Kowloon Construction worked as a Diving Contractor for Leighton Construction (Asia) Ltd at CLP Black Point Power Station supervising underwater demolition of 3 X intake culverts and the installation of a new precast intake culvert for the supply of cooling water to the new installed Combined Cycle Gas Powered Turbine in 2019.


During his time on the project, KCC worked hard and diligently throughout and constantly worked above and beyond what was expected their team. They maintained good records, worked in a wholly professional manner, safely and contributed well within the whole marine team to achieve good safe productivity.
